I enjoy life by traveling and tasting. I believe the best way to understand a place and its people, is to do what they do and eat what they eat. It could be fried crickets in Mexico or a “famous” hot dog at Coney Island. It all tastes good to me.
I convey my emotional attachment to food so that Kansas kid can call anywhere home. You are where you eat. My love for sharing my practices, thoughts and food starts at the table. I want to make it a table for you. Care to join me?
This blog documents a spring break trip turned assignment during March 2010. What I thought would be a tasting tour of New England turned into the trip of a young adulthood. Putting miles between Manhattan, Kansas to as far as Freeport, Maine and back would make each meal better than the last.
